Chi Alpha is student movement on colleges and universities throughout the world. We’re a network of Christian ministries that looks a little different on every campus – but here’s what you’re always sure to find: students who are hungry for God and are impacting the campus, community and the world.
EIU Chi Alpha was launched in the fall of 2015. We are a community of students earnestly following Jesus. We're not a fraternity. We're family. Our name is Greek because the New Testament was written in Greek. It comes from 2 Corinthians 5:20 which says, "we are therefore Christ's (Chi) Ambassadors (Alpha)." We often abbreviate our name as XA. We meet on Friday evenings at 7pm at Woodlawn Chapel (917 Woodlawn Drive, Charleston). You belong here.
